Eastern NC

I am just seeing if there is a group in Eastern NC. I am currently stationed in Japan but sometime between now and April I will get out of the navy and head back to Greenville. If there's not a group is there anyone interested and getting together and maybe starting up a group?

All right we have 2 now. Hopefully we can find some more between now and when I get back stateside. It would be nice to have a group to meet with on a regular basis.

I was just thinking about getting together on a regular basis to pick locks discuss techniques and perhaps if we got enough people coming on a regular basis getting a chapter set up either with LSI or TOOOL. With gettogethers we benefit from have more tools and locks to play with and people to bounce different ideas off of maybe do fund-raising type things to make some money to help pay for members to go to DEFCON and HOPE maybe we could volunteer for community projects to help bring a positive light to the locksport world and really anything else we can come up with.

Well I am stationed in Japan at the moment but should be back by April 2010 at the latest. Maybe we could all meet up somewhere that is kind of between all of us and see if there is any interest in picking with people at work or the community. Freak13 I am assuming you are in the marines being down in LeJune and I know at least in the navy and patterns here on the forums quite a few of us military folks are interested so maybe start getting together with some of them.

Yeah Marines. I have 4 guys plus myself that are very interested, we've talked about doing this exact thing several times. I'll push the word out and see if they're any takers.
