impressioning a old pump lock

Postby serpih » 24 Jul 2009 14:52

Today i have tried to make a key by impressioning for one old lock "more then 20 years"

This lock was considered pick proof.

here the key i have filed

Image

i have made a movie, you only see the key working in the lock, was the first time,
I don't have made a movie when i was making the impressioning, maybe next time.

about 15 minutes, but this lock have a easy combination, in fact i have made five cuts by impression, one of the levers could be decoded watching inside of the lock, is the deeper you see in my key.

i have made my self the key in brass to have nice marks.
