I decided to get a new camera. But lets not be fooled, the camera is for my wife. I just get to borrow it :D .

Oh, and this camera actually has a "macro" setting!! :D

Very nice tool! I like how you have notches cut in the groovegrabber to identify the pin you are working on.

It doesn't just identify which pin I am working on. If I know that I am in the groove I can line it up with the front of the lock and know for certain that it is set on the correct angle. Just like a medecoder, but simpler, and ...a little less precise.

That tool is sweet and it sounds like youre kicking butt on these things. Great job! :-)

My attempts to adapt a Medecoder to the 831b havent met much success. They shield a lot of the plug face with the body and force you cut a bunch of the scale tube away. Also tried basing the measurements off the lock body, but the cylinder likes to move around in there and mess that up. It seems like these scaled-groovegrabbers are the way to go for 831/833.
