Custom Pick Cases

Postby BOBO » 18 Aug 2004 11:48

Greetings all - newbie here and I am lovin' this stuff! I have put together a very nice custom set of picks, and would like to have a nice leather case made. Does any one have a site/person/link they would reccomend?

Go to SouthOrd's website at www.southord.com. They have some nice cases for picks under $20.00 US, you just have pay $4.95 US shipping, but I feel IMHO you'll get what you want.
South Ord is in Fla.

In my last post, I had a period on the link which is not part of the address, it should read: www.southord.com

Thanks - I have a SouthOrd case but want something smaller and nicer. I think custom is probably the way to go for me.

Yeah, I make cases. Any idea the type of case you are looking for?

PM me, and let me know.

Hey Romstar, what type of thread do you use for sewing your cases? I have been using a heavy duty upholstery nylon thread but it is pretty expensive. Also do you have any patterns for a small 5-8 pick zippered case?

I use a multi-strand nylon thread for my cases.

Aa for a pattern, it's pretty simple really. Let me see if I can find what I was using, and scan it in for you.

It's a double sided case. Holds 10 picks, and a few tension tools.
