Question about posting free lockpick material available

Postby pickinboogies » 10 Aug 2009 5:29

Hi everyone, my name is Jeff, aka pickinboogies lol. This is a great forum, with a wealth of knowledge and information available. I am very lucky to have accidentally stumbled onto it!! There are many great people here to help too, which is wonderful.
I have an endless (yes, it's endless) supply of some nice lockpick material. It's a nice, easy to work spring steel, easy to temper as well. I would like to be able to offer it to others on this site that don't have good access to pick material, or don't have the resources to purchase it.
I have only been a member for a very short time, but I would like to make it available for free, as I have waaayyy more than I could ever possibly need. I did a little reading in the buy sell trade section, and it said that I should be here for at least 2 months before I post. Would it be ok for me to post there, as I'm not really buying, trading, or selling anything... I am giving it away. Please let me know. I'm not sure who would determine this, but I'd greatly appreciate your help. Thanks!!

It sounds like you are a very helpful and kind person. I would take this up with one of the mods, particularly digital_blue or zeke79, the mod of the BST forum.

Personally, I am not overly impressed with the OP reposting this in another subforum- when the original ad he placed in BST was under moderator review... Which he was aware of...

Anyways, locked. See link above for more info.
