A few more cutaways....

Postby SnowyBoy » 10 Aug 2009 10:53

I saw an MTL Interactive in Han's collection which I liked very much. So I duplicated it for my collection :) I also had an experimental cut with a KABA-20 which I tried doing 1mm cuts on but my attachment snapped, so carried on with the 1.5mm and changed the cuts slightly. I still have to go back to it and do the 4 diagonal pins.

KABA:

Errrrr, why did the images show up here? I didn't put the IMG tags.

Please could a mod sort this out as they are a rediculous size for the forum to display.

Thanks

Can we sort this out NOW please as remote linking isn't allowed with this host. And if they are removed I won't be bothered to upload them again.

I love the MtL! Very clean looking! (the cuts, not the lock :P )

I love the details in these large pictures. Can clearly see the mushroom pins in the interactive. Very nice work!

Hah! It's a shame isn't it, that green cr*p won't come off with anything. I even tried oven cleaner! I'll probably just sand it down and polish it so it looks mint ;)

rrkss I use a pretty old Casio Exilim Z55. The macro on it is pretty good since it has a Pentax lense. The annoying thing with it is that if I want to take a photo of a lock, it only makes a nice photo without the flash.... BUT, when i set the flash to OFF, I have to hold the camera so deadly still otherwise the photo turns out blurred. But on the other hand, if I have the flash set to AUTO and there is enough light for it not to come on, the auto focus works perfectly and takes the clear picture. It's a right pain, I don't know why it is? I've experienced it with quite a few digital cameras, including newer ones.

That is why you often see water droplets on the lock...... because I am outside for the light, and the water is the Great British weather. Pretty much all my outside lock photos have droplets on the lock xD

I position a piece of white paper below the flash to bouce light slighty away from my target to get rid of the blur, don't know how to really describe it but it allows my to take macro photos indoors with flash.

It's bad when people are asking in other posts to have your pictures resized...

I forgot the post but someone mentioned it. I just thought it was funny.

What you mean? It was probably me asking for the mods to make it links as it originally was. I'm not sure what happened when I posted the links, but all of a sudden they started to display in the post! They were fine for about 20 minutes.
