WolfSpring, if you input the wrong combination 5 times, the lock goes into a lockout mode, to override you must input the correct combination TWICE. However, the lock is capable of having a secondary code installed. I will PM you with info.

What is that blue button looking thing at the back of the electronics box? Looks like a reset button.

Oh and its not a safe, its a cheap firebox made of sheetmetal. why do people call things that can be opened with a slap safes? At least here where the difference is known, we should not be categorizing these things as safes, they are not, they aren't even very good fire boxes. anyone with a tin snips can cut it open like a tin can.

I only catagorized it as a Hotel Safe because when I looked up Diplomat it looked like there current production "hotel safes". It is pretty cheap, could pry one side of it open, but straightpicks info helped me and I was able to work the combo. If nothing else when i bring this home I can use it to hide stuff from my kids. Change out the pins with some security pins and use it as a pistol container, which I know isn't going to stop a thief, but it will keep cuirious children away from it.
