Great instructional video

Postby CptedIV » 6 Oct 2009 13:24

I just got a copy of Lockpicking for the New Millennium, with david storm. If anyones looking for a good detailed easy to watch video, I recommend it. I searched the site and didn't see anyone else writing about it, so I made a new post. I downloaded my copy, but the dvd is only 9 bucks...

Its got a lot of good tips and hints to make things easier, you can learn a lot just by reading this site, but seeing it really makes a difference.

Anyone know any other good videos similar to this one?

This particular video seems to attract some pretty varied opinions. :)

A lot of folks report that it's offered them some good tips for starting out. Personally, I found it less useful: to me it seemed to play more like an hour-long advertisement for Southord products than a good "how to" video. (It's been discussed a few times before here: link, link, link.)

Well, it's only $9 to rent from smartflix: it's more to purchase.

I've seen it three or more years back and didn't gain anything out of it personally. To me it should have been titled, "Lockpicking for the Previous Millennium" as far as the outdated basic content was concerned.

Don't mean to sound overly critical or negative for those of you who enjoyed it, but anytime I'm asked to spend $40 or more on a video that supposedly contains revolutionary information, its either a "epic win" or "epic fail" for me.
If a lock is a puzzle, then its key is the complete picture
