To expand on previous comments, pretty much anyone can buy a slim jim online as well, but the reason we won't tell you how to use it is simple liability. Mr. Picks does not want to go through a lawsuit or be called to a witness stand because some idiot got on google and learned how to break into his ex-wife's car from us. It doesn't matter if that idiot can get the instructions elsewhere--we encourage idiots to go elsewhere.

You look like you meet the Advanced requirements, so why not apply and post your thoughts in the advanced tools section?

I really should apologise, I didn't mean to step on any toes. You make a great point about liability, even if someone learned how the mechanism works for themselves and how to manipulate it (like I did), it'd more than likely fall on you guys if they did something illegal with a tool they made thanks to us on the forums here. This particular issue didn't cross my mind, so again, I apologise. I feel pretty stupid now.

Hopefully you can see that I thought this over before posting though, and that I wasn't being a complete idiot. I guess I could apply for the advanced section, it never crossed my mind to be honest as I'm fairly happy with pin tumblers and basic lever locks at the moment... it'd certainly be interesting to look around though, I hear JK's proper stuff on the medecoder is in there so that'd definately be worth a look. Not to mention I could talk all I wanted about making a disc detainer pick in there, heh.
