i actually carry some homemade handcuff shims...
i dont really know y... the terrorists dont use handcuffs i dont think... but just in case they wont keep me long lol
i made 2 so when you put em together they protect eachother and dont get bent too much in your pocket...
they still get bent a little but they wont kink up when they are together
or you could just use a bobby pin. smaller and works just as well.

Those would be really handy for Gringo Warrior, in case you ever get to play. They are doing it again at Defcon, I think, if you are going out there this year.

Picked a Master Lock 930... before my first coffee. Interestingly, it's the first time I pick that lock with the tension wrench in the bottom of the keyway. Usually I had to top tension it to have room to move in there. Wrench was the same size too.

[on topic] Picked an antique simmons 2 lever padlock[/on topic] i dont normally try to get away from police . A bobby pin can be held in your hair or under a collar. I have never shimmed a double locked handcuff before

I got a hold of some moderately challenging locks today. Both with nasty broaching to prevent most picking attempts. One is a Kaba Peaks, and the others are all Medeco Keymark cylinders. I wasn't able to use my favorite hook pick in either of these locks. But I found tools I have for other locks/uses to work great. I used a miniature half diamond on the Kaba Peaks. And I used a "wafer free'er tool" I guess I will call it that since that is what I usually use it for. All I did was add a few marks for spacing, normally I wouldn't need that but it certainly helped on the Keymarks. It ended up being a perfect pick for these, since it doesn't matter how radical the cylinders are keyed.

Picked Russwin Emhart today. http://i810.photobucket.com/albums/zz25 ... 190008.jpgLock is a LFIC, uses 4 of the standard emhart interlocking pins, each interlocking pin is has an interlocking master pin which locks interlocks between the bottom and driver pins, this is how it came from eBay! The control lug uses regular pins with regular master pins as found in your regular IC. Pretty challenging lock! [edit- broke image link, photo too large-unlisted]

Was just reading this site, as I was considering the Foley Belsaw class. One of the classes included is emhart interlocking pin construction, but not a picking class, so I found this page: http://agentddr999.googlepages.com/corbinemhart Says cant be picked has never been picked, and looks crazy! How do you get the pins to rotate? Anyway, congratz. Opened my first deadbolt kwikset with all 5 pins in today. Ed

These are my latest high security victories. All from earlier today! They are displayed from easiest to hardest (left to right). The Medeco M3 took roughly 5 minutes. the Schlage Primus took roughly 10-15 minutes. The Medeco Biaxial fought with me and took about 20-25 minutes. I didn't know how those ones where keyed. But full disclosure on the Assa V-10, I was looking at the keys while picking on it. And it took roughly 20 minutes. I was ecstatic, until a co-worker handed me a General knob on an sc1 keyway. I couldn't pick it , there wasn't even anything special about it. I'm happy though, I got a lot of practice in today.

Rotate the pins in the same fashion as a medeco The Emhart's i have are all masterkeyed and only four of the six pins are of the interlocking type, a standard Emhart with no masterkeying would be a lot more difficult.
