CB Multiguage pick

i've had this tool for a while and not had too much joy.
i've picked a few locks ok with this but not ones with low lever packs an example being the legge black.

however, last week, someone said there are different wires you can get for the pick?

can anyone shed some light on this and anything that may be helpful
