Advice please

Postby agb1331 » 5 Apr 2009 16:32

Hello,

After exploring locksmithing and lockpicking as a casual hobby, I am now looking into formal education in the field. I am currently catching up on forum posts and doing some research on schools as time allows.

I am employed as a full time police officer and looking to solidify and round out my knowledge of the field so far.
I am curious if anyone has, (or knows someone who has) attended Acme locksmith School located in Worth, Il.

Any feedback or advice would be appreciated. In the meantime, I will look for more insight on the forums.

Thanks again-

No help here, but I had to laugh... Isn't ACME the name of products that the coyote in the Road Runner cartoons always used?

What are the legal laws in your state for locksmith licensing, I have a few courses you may want to check out, you must find an accredited school or course if your state law warrants. Once you find out then get back to me.
Keys? We don't need no stinkin keys!

acme means the best, and locksmiths often use it to get near first placement in the yellow pages.

acme is also used in many old cartoons, as mentioned.
