got a kaba gege here, first iv come across.

Cant pick the bugger despite what looks like easy bitting.

Do these have serated key pins? I really cant tell. :lol:

Not sure about key pins, been a while since I saw a gege but they've got some nasty driver pins, that's for sure. The tolerances are pretty high so it could just be that, although I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if it had crazy key pins aswell. You'll get it open mate, keep at it... and if you're not getting anywhere after a while, just scrub it open. They're definately not easy to pick, but if the bitting is nice and regular it should scrub open without too much hassle.

Make sure to post your findings when you get it apart! :mrgreen:

first 3 pins are really high leaving 3 lower ones at the back.

Raking/scrubbing isnt much good, it ok to start you off but i fear it may be oversetting something sraight away.

The GEGEs have very good tolerances and serrated driver pins. They're tough to rake, but not too bad if you use light tension and single pin picking. At heart, they're just well made traditional pin-tumblers, so don't get hung up on the KABA name.
