Asec Euro lock

Hi Again,
my dad has just come back from holiday and bought me some brass thumb-turn euro locks made by ASEC.
Has anybody heard of these locks as ive looked through countless makes of locks in different publications and found zilch.
You try and put any tension tool into it and well theres no room for any kinda pick slim or standard to fit,ive even filed down my one of my thin tensions and still no joy ,
Any views????

Asec are supplied by aldridges and are at the budget end of the market, but that doesnt mean they are easy to open

Met with an Alridge rep yesterday, and he brought an ASEC sashlock with a perspex cover plate on it. Basically a Legge under a different name - and cheap !.

i stock and use assec , assec rim cylinders have 4 anti pick pins are excellent quality and only £1.19 each, euros are between £1.40 and £3 and good quality, they are a bugger to pick and rarely let you down, aldridges stock there full range, the bs 3621 sash and dead locks are actualy legge but half the price for the same lock, cylinders are cut on an evva press, helluva tight keyway.

try using a dental pick for tension and an hpc half diamond pick
