If you could only have 3 picks?

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

My three picks would have to be single, double and triple hump Bogotas made by Raimondo. I love them by the way can ya tell? :D
if everyone who tried something new liked it but didnt bother telling anyone else there would never be anything new to try...

I've always heard about the greatness of the bogota rakes but wow  . This thread is a great endorsement, the bogotas are obviously a huge favorite. I am gonna have to make or order a set soon. :)

My opinion as of right now would be:
#1 - Custom (Windshield Wiper) Short Hook
#2 - Southord Standard Small Half Diamond
#3 - Custom (Hacksaw) Modified Falle-Safe Deep Curve #1

Standard hook, half diamond, and bogota rake. It's kinda a tie between the bogota and a second smaller diamond. Next you should ask for two specific tensors :D

  • Short hook
  • Diamond
  • S-rake

I'd then finish off with a good tension wrench.

After having experienced Rai's Bogotas first hand I would have to say they are my new #1 favorite, I would strike my previous #3 from my list.
