What's up guys, I'm Val and I just got started in locksmithing. My dad has been in the business for over ten years and I'm glad to be helping him out. He's real oldschool so I thought by going online I may be able to learn faster then he did on his own.

I have been opening cars for AAA for about a year and a half and have lots and lots of experience unlocking cars... what seems to be your dilemma?

Hello, everybody.
My name is Heiden, nice to meet you all.
Where I am from: I have been going aroud the world for long, now I stayed in the United Kingdom.
Why I joined pick lock forum: Because picklocking is fascinating hobby for me, it's like reliver after stressful day. It started it in my late childhood, when I saw picklocking for the first time when locksmith opened our house front door in 5 minutes!
What I would like to wish for everybody: feel the perfect time when you are better than best hi-tec lock is!
I hope we will find the language between and have a good time ;)

Hey guys I'am a Locksmith in Kansas City, I've been on here a while but haven't posted yet until now that is!

I'am interested in Locksporting and maybe joining a club like Toool.

My current project is picking the Kwikset Smartkey, and it's a bear! Any pointers would be appreciated

Hello Folks

My name is Mic and Im from Switzerland. Im 28 years old and Im a professional construction diver.
I saw some videos about lockpicking on the internet, all of a sudden I got hooked by it. After sucessfully opening some cheaper padlocks at my home I got even more interested in it. I now wanna try it on a higher level, harder to pick locks. Next to my own made picks I ordered now a professional pickset. The picking of a lock is like a challenging game and this hobby gives me a good balance to my job. However, Im still a big NOOB at this, even though Im very ambitious and learning quickly. I read hours about all the mechanism and pick technics and practice at the same time. I really like this website, it seems that the people here are real pros and it would be an advantage for me as a rookie, to join this forum and learn of you guys. I also think about doing a locksmith course as a hobby. In Switzerland there is not a big number of people doing this hobby, although there are also a few lockpicking clubs. The one thing i didnt see in your forum is that you talk about KESO locks. (those are spread all over switzerland). Im maybe going to open a new topic about that.

Really happy to be part o this site now and i hope i will make good progress in my lockpicking skills.

Greets

I am new here, but I am a huge enthusiast!! learning something new is always soo much fun!!!

I had my first lockpicking adventure when I returned home from vacation and lost all the keys to my luggage boxes!! LO! i instantaneously remembered those funny movies where a lock was picked by inserting a long and thing something into the keyhole. Hence in search for something suitable, i chewed on the end of a plastic refill of a pen (made flat by chewing), inserted into the hole and "felt" a system that I pressed onto 3-4 times and thus I had PICKED THE FIRST LOCK IN MY LIFE!!!!!!

HAHAHAHA!!!!! :D :D :D

Hey everyone,
I'm a college student from the US and I was interested in lockpicking as a competition between my older brother and I a few years back but I only now learned how (thanks to you guys!). I hope to teach my older brother as well as a couple friends who might like to try it.
I cant wait to get better at this!
See ya

Hello all! I've been messing with lockpicking on and off for a few years now but I'm finally getting serious about it. I look forward to learning a lot and maybe even contributing once I'm good enough.
