you may want to have a search around this site a bit more - lurk for a bit and you'll figure out what picks are good to get.
supprisingly, those sets seem fairly good value... I didn't really spend that much time looking at them though...
Oh look! it's 2016!

Mate, start off with a small set containing a half diamond, hook, tension wrench, and not much else to confuse you with pick selection. The more you have at the start, the more there is to cause confusion.
If it ain't broke.....pull it down and see how it works anyway!

And the less you have, the more likely you are to become frustrated with a high pin that could be set if only you'd bought the set with that medium lifter pick......
I'm partial to the 14 and 20 pick set. The HPC Pro Mixer, or the HPC Superior pick set are also excellent choices if you have the money for them. Also, check out suppliers for Peterson and Rytan. Each of those companies offer a mid range tool set.

I like my custom set, mostly HPC and peterson. HPC Half hook, half diamond a rake, 2000 series deforest, ball and hook. Peterson - Reach, diamond.

Just my $.02, but I started with this set you show:

and I learned to pick Master No.1 & 3 padlocks, a variety of generics, plus all of the common cheapie deadbolts for house doors. However, now that I have a little idea of what I am trying to do I have purchased some Rytan and HPC picks...individuals rather than big sets. It's all a matter of preference - but you WILL be able to learn with those !
