The first thing i do on a lockout job is spray some lube in the keyhole and rajke it a few times to free all the pins up.

To my surprise i sprayed it, raked it and it opened

didnt even get round to putting a tension wrench in there haha, easiest money iv ever earned

Was a securit euro cylinder

I'm quite sure they simply took all the pins out.

It looked more like some kind of bypass to me.

No I've seen the whole unedited video and the lock still had the all the pins in it. This was sort of a semi-destructive method that Medeco quickly fixed so it wouldn't work anymore.
If a lock is a puzzle, then its key is the complete picture

Yeah, Josh, can't get into details in public forums, but it was not faked.

I just accidently picked a lock also. Well, maybe accidently is the wrong term. I was trying to pick this lock, but didn't realize that it wasn't locking what I thought it was. I just got my first lockpick set, and wanted to try it out. So I saw what appeared to be an electrical panel in my lab, and resolved to pick its lock and look at what was inside. I struggled for 45 minutes, raking and not really knowing what I was doing. Then, when I wasn't really paying attention, it suddenly clicked and turned. I was excited! Then I tried to open the door, but nothing would swing open. It suddenly dawned on me that this wasn't a breaker box or anything like it.

I had turned a switch.

And I had no idea what it did. I panicked, tried to look up the code at the top of the box and figure out what I'd done. I couldn't find out what it was, though. I pictured security guards racing in through the door to investigate the cause of this switch being triggered, and finding me with a very incriminating lockpick set. I was horrified. I frantically set to work picking the lock AGAIN so I could return it to its original position. Somehow, under pressure, and with my previous attempt's experience guiding me, I was able to do it much faster. Ahh, the adventures my lockpick set and I will have...

Do NOT pick locks in use!

You CAN break locks when you pick them!

If you pick a lock and it fails safe, something cannot be secured, if you pick a lock and it fails secure, something cannot be accessed. Do not pick locks in use.
