yes you are right, its that family of chubb, ie 3G110, 3G135 ( restricted key section) that have the square escutcheon.

i have noticed a lot of banks have this lock more so nat west

As I see it, If a door is fitted with a a square escutcheon, that wont necessarily indicate that is a 3G110 though, and visca versa.

For example, the lock may have been changed and the escutcheon kept the same. Someone may have had a spare escutcheon from a Chubb, and fitted it with another lock etc.

its unlikely that someone will have changed the lock leaving a 110 escutcheon as you would have a helluva job fitting anothe lock and keep where a 110 was fitted.

the 110 is the most used lock on banks and post offices.
