Just found the site. I have been working as an part-time apprentice locksmith for a year. Mostly rekeys and home lockouts. Also have taken over doing all the lock work for the apartment management company I work for. I also just ordered Foley to see what I am missing in my apprentice training. In the past I worked as an alarm installer so plan to go into that area on my own some day.

David in Miami Beach & Spain - completely new to lock pickin

Postby davidthepicker » 6 Apr 2010 12:08

Hi,

Are there any lockpickers in Miami Beach, Fla., or in Málaga, Spain?

I know nothing at all about lock picking, but I'm keen to learn.

Currently I'm in Miami Beach most of the year, and in Málaga in the summer, although in a couple of years I'll be returning to Málaga permanently.

Hablo español.

hey everyone .i've been a member for a bit but this is my first post. i've been interested in lockpicking since i can remember i always figured it was not as easy as the movies made it seem ( nothing ever is) but yeah honestly at first it was a i wanna open stuff kinda thing for me but now i have come to realize what an interesting hobby this is . i'm suprised at the artistry in which many of the lp101 members are capable in the manufacturing of picks and what not and also very happy to be a part of a place where people are more than happy to share their knowledge and experiences. i can honestly say that this is gonna be fun to learn this art from everyone and i look forward to posting up some pics of my first pick attempts

Hi - I'm Mjk - from Staffordshire (UK) and after lots of random visits to sites like this I thought I'd finally sign up and see if I can get into this as a hobby a bit more :)

Now I've got lots of newbie post reading to do to see what kit & toys to buy/avoid I think..!

My name is Matt, I am from NY in the United States. I have considered this a hobby for awhile now, and have bought some tools to do it with. Nothing too fancy though, would love to learn more.
