I've used that spinner before and I gotta say, what a cheap piece of crap that tool is. It does work if you get used to it but it's a miracle that there arn't more locksmiths and hobbyists missing one or more fingers from the use of that tool. I don't blame you for having a hard time with that particular plug spinner. Even the shop I worked at didn't like that one either.
But I'll admit that I'm probably critical of that tool cos the first spinner I bought and used was the DINO Gun plug spinner (
http://www.lockpicks.com/guntypeplugspi ... dtips.aspx), and I got spoiled cos the DINO spinner is in my opinion the best one out there compared to all the others. In fact I even prefer the KLOM plug spinner (
http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.16415) which is probably just a cheaper copy of the DINO tool over the A-5.
