Those are some different looking locks. Do you happen to know how any of them work?
Lock picking is an art, not a means of entry.

Egads! It looks like you've found the Chinese Lockpicking101! Just look at the third picture down, at least that answers where to stick your wrench on that kind of lock :) Also, take a look at this link;

http://www.szhuang.com/sort.php/7

Tons of pretty pics of picks and locks.

As to how they work. Well to my fairly untrained eye they all look like pin tumbler locks but with variations on dimples, laser cuts and keyway shapes but all pin tumblers none the less. I might be wrong on a few of them but hey, sue me! :)

This site is mad just look at this http://www.szhuang.com/article.php/304 i think its a chinese version of the curtain pick. Looking at some these pictures is certainly provoking a lot of thought on new tools.

Isnt this a kaba pick ? http://www.szhuang.com/article.php/217

There's all sorts on that site.

I used a translation service a few weeks ago, which sometimes helps to explain, other times it's just confusing.

Check out the Mul-T-Lock picks and other similar tools. The creator of those tools must be really gifted.

Well if varjeal ever runs out of questions for his competitions he could have ones like "what is this used for ?" http://www.szhuang.com/article.php/255

I must admit im going to be trawling through this lot getting ideas as they seem to be playing with a lot of high security locks (apart from the 3 lever yale ive just seen on there).

It would be nice if one of the mods could contact them to see if they would like to join this forum assuming somebody speaks manderin or they can speak english, a possibility perhaps ? Im sure romstar must speaka da lingo

What little Cantonese I speak is terrible. I certainly can't write it thats for sure.

Every language I have ever know is long gone. Being Canadian I am supposed to be bilingual. I can't even remember my French.

The worst part is that you can't run many of these pages through a translator because of the way they are formatted.

Looks interesting though.

aha! there is a limit to romstar's general knowledge! he can only speak a little bit of cantonese.... :D

I speak and read japanese to an average level so I can recognise the occasinal character (can read about 350 chars - writing them's another matter)..
Oh look! it's 2016!

It would be good if you could provide a translation of parts of your site into English. Not many of us speak any form of Chinese.
