Heck yea!

I jumped from a Grade 3 deadbolt, to a Grade 1 and popped it open in only a few minutes! :)

I've SPPd it twice, and did this method of raking/SPP at least 10 times now.

I'm so happy! :)

Congrats, but IIRC the ANSI Grades aren't looking at pick resistance. :)

yeah it's actually the durability and drill resistance. pretty much the things that would have to stand up to destructive entry.

Again, I'm not sure about the "grades" but unless this is a commercial grade I don't think it would have any drill resistance.

It's kind of a moot point, especially with the Master locks that have ratings like 6, 7, 8, whatever that rake open with some medium tension and a stiff rake. :D

ANSI and BHMA standards apply mostly to architectural hardware such as door locks. I don't think padlocks ever get any kind of rating, so manufacturers like Master and ABUS have a little 1 to 10 scale to let you know if you are getting their general protection or their super awesome protection.

Here is a great presentation on lock standards by Marc Tobias and Matt Fiddler as given at the DEFCON conference:
http://www.defcon.org/images/defcon-15/dc15-presentations/dc-15-tobias_and_fiddler.pdf

It lists UL437 picking at 10 minutes
BHMA/ANSI as 15 minutes

Good reading for all!
