What is the actual point of that article? It strikes me as alarmist and without purpose. Like they needed to fill space and couldn't find anything else to write about, almost. Whoever wrote it hasn't the first clue as to how the tool actually works either, so it's not even interesting to read. I like how they say hand picking is "rudimentary" and only works on some locks. I'm not sure whether to laugh or bury my head in my hands.

Title: "Tool: Electric Lock Pick Is an All-Access Pass"

-It's not an "All-Access pass." Really. How would you pick gun open anything besides normal pin tumber locks? Even an Everest would beat this.

"But most of these rudimentary techniques work"

-SPP is not a "rudimentary technique" that works on a limited number of locks. SPP will (in theory) work on all locks that are pin tumbler and some that aren't!

Don't get me started on the comments or the fact that this has been on the market for years.

The continuation of painting lock picking as an obscure art, yet there are magic tools that if you have the money for will do everything for you.

and they will only work for the people who buy if they know how much tension to put on and let it move freely in the lock otherwise they will make the tool in the lock break with too much force.or not open because the tension is to hard also pullsing tension helps

Just like in the movies, the good guys pick locks, and the bad guys use power tools.
