The S&G 831B uses a Medeco cylinder with a restricted keyway: unfortunately, you will not be able to take it to a locksmith and get a duplicate made.
Just as an aside... you say that you only have one key: I'm not sure if you have the operating key (which only unlocks the lock), or the control key (which allows you to disassemble it). If you just have the operating key, you can make a control key by just filing off enough of the key's shoulder to allow it to turn counter-clockwise. (The operating and control keys are otherwise identical.)

I dont think you're understanding .. the shape of the keyhole in those padlocks is reserved for US military use. you cannot get the blank keys from anywhere unless you buy used already cut keys on ebay. Just buying a Medeco key and taking the key to the locksmith will not work, they have so many differently shaped keyways. The one you showed in your link is a 6 pin Biaxial G3 keyway.. yours is a 6 pin Non-Biaxial (Original) 02 keyway. 00 Keyway is called AIR, 04 keyway is called SKY, and you CAN buy those on ebay or a locksmith, but you cannot buy a 02 key that would actually insert into your lock. a 00 key, a G3 key, a 04 key will not even insert into your padlock. You will never find those key blanks for a military lock anywhere. The only place that can order blanks is the procurement dept with the US military/DOD, and its immediate supply branches.
That keyway was never intended for public ownership. I would wish you luck in your search for those blanks, but I already know you will not find any.
+1 on getting squelchtone to deal with it.. may cost ya a few pennies thou. Totally worth it overall.

Someone with Easy Entrie - machine might be able to cut the blank? It could be hard to find, and it propably is illeagal in USA to make such a key? I wonder if its leagal here in EU.. I just saw an used machine sold for 3000 pounds. I wish I could make myself believe I need the machine, it would be so cool to have!

I solved this problem by buying another 831 that had all its keys, then taking both locks to a Medeco expert and had them keyed alike. Worked great!

Ah, sorry. Well, whether I paid too much for it or not, I bought it off him a few weeks ago: that lock isn't available any longer. However... that does remind me: I'm in need of a 831B cylinder and keys, if anyone has one. (I should realty post to B/S/T, I guess...)
