This is an absolute farce IMHO. From August one of the oldest and most respected british lock brands is disappearing. Assa Abloy, who own the Chubb product, will no longer be able to use the name, logo or branding on their locks, they are being forced to re-brand as Union or Yale. Apparently a US company current owns the brand, not the product, and will not be renewing the license to use it to anybody. It includes Chubb Safes as well, the only part of Chubb that will still exist in name is Chubb Custodial. The world has gone mad! Further info here:
