Reminds me of when we locked the keys in the car in the carpark of a supermarket and a guy with the same make of car pulled up he offered to let us try his keys and it worked lock just opened.
amazing but i think the chances of it happening again are slim
similar car keys are quite common... it will only open the door mind you.
You think the dealerships would mix it up a little to prevent similar keys going to similar areas.
A relative of mine actually got into the wrong car and sat there for a while before noticing it was wrong lol
The same thing happened to me about 10 years ago.. one of my first cars was a second hand green fiat punto.
Fiat Punto was pretty common back then, but I've only seen a handful green ones in my area.. well one day I went home during my lunch break, managed to take a short nap and then hurried back to work, still half asleep.. well basically I put the keys in the wrong car, open the door and sith down.. and I realized the seat was set in a different position.. I couldn't quite figure it out, until I noticed that car also had a different car stereo.. I jumped out, locked it and ran for my car lol.
