HPC code cutter

Postby bh5213 » 22 Jun 2010 18:09

Hi, this is my first post here....I have been reading on this site off and on since January and enjoy what I have learned from you guys.

My question is....I have come across a HPC code cutter for sale for $750 plus $100 for the code book. I believe this is the older model b/c I do not see the deburring brush that is on the Blitz. Is this a good price for the older model? I have seen a Blitz for sale around $1200 and such.

Make sure you know what you want to buy and you know what your buying before you purchase. Whats cards come with it ? What cutters come with it and what cutters do you think youll be using. If they are not with them they retail for over $100 a peice so it can add up. The brush is not a big deal. If the cards are not provided either they are quite expensive. There are a couple hundred cards and if you buy them seperate they are @ $15 each. Also need the 2 tip stops required and a manual to service and adjust/ calibrate machine. Also what BOOK are they talking about. Most of the hpc code books are in binder form and you require many of them. You can go with a code program or disk for way cheaper than the books. Thats old tech.
