Hello all;

I'm a second generation locksmith. I decided to try and find a locksmithing forum since all the posts I make on other forums about locksmithing seems to include the words "contact your local locksmith".

Just getting started.
Been interested in lock picking for a while now and finally decided to pick up a set and give it a try.
Thanks for this great site, it has provided a lot of useful information for me to get started.

Hello, All,

I've been lurking for a while, but I figured I'd finally register. I'm new to picking, but I find it fascinating. I suppose that I'm interested in just about every form of world-hacking, and lockpicking is definitely one of the most interesting.

Practical picker that enjoys the sport, but really likes being able to use the skills in the field and NOT calling a locksmith. No offense to locksmiths.

Hi All,
5 hours ago I started looking for a locksmith in NYC - one site to another; one article after another and here I am... Fascinating, intriguing - I love puzzles and this seems to be in the same arena.

Is there such a thing as a software/online lock simulation?

Not that I've seen but others may know. The closest thing is the little game I made a while back linked below. Be sure to read the documentation because the controls are...non-intuitive:

Hi everyone, euro apprentice lock picker here :)
I've always been thrilled by lock picking but was never more than a "paperclip picker" until a few days ago.
I decided to start learning more after I found out how easy it is to find info and learning material nowadays.. I never thought there would be so much around and even online communities :D
