Postby tumblbug » 21 Jul 2010 22:37

I am cleaning out my parents house and came acrossed this wierd key and I have no idea what i would be to. I am hoping someone can help. It looks like two keys that were puut together in an "x" shape so that there are ridges on all of the legs of the x. What would this key even unlock?

It's called a cruciform key, could go to any number of things, maybe a steering wheel lock??

If the key has a long shank, it could be from a safe.

It sounds like it is from a Sentry safe.
