LocksmithArmy, you just need a round file and some sandpaper to give it a try! It's a rewarding experiment and it really worth the effort!

Rickthepick, this is a picture of my very first attempt. You did a better job with your first one. At least it worked! :)

I had to pack all my stuff up... were fixin to head home in the next 2 months lol so I put up all my files...

plus I gotta get some blanks...
ill get started as soon as I get home and show you all how I do :)

what do ya need, a few locks, some compatible key blanks, a vicegrip pliers, and two files, a round or pippin file, foruth cut, and a bastrd file to cut a knife edge on the blank.
How much longer will you be in bush's folly, (bagdad)
maybe some of us can get you started, the lock and key blanks is the easy part, and the few tools cant be that hard to come by
anyone have anything to send, I could either take care of the easy part or wait and see what part is hardest to organize and I could take that one,
I like to help out our guys stuck in the sandbox.

Are those master spacers or ball bearings in the left two pin stacks?

these are just master wafers. They may seems spherical in this picture but they are just disks (click on the thumbnail to see the larger picture).
