Hey all! Sorry I've been gone for so long, but things have finally gotten rolling in Albany. We're meeting on the first Sunday of every month at Fantasy Knights (game store, not porn store) in Albany, OR. Meetings start at noon, although 12:30 is more when things really get started.
Small group of beginners, but we're having a blast. Anyone in Oregon is welcome to come by and offer tips/tricks or to join!
Hope to see some of you soon!
(Yes, the meeting is getting ready to start as I'm typing this.)

And, of course, just after posting this, we decided to make it first and third Sundays.
Any questions, let me know!

Well, I would really like to drop in one of these days would that be ok? I am just over the hill from you in Mill City, I would love to come check it out, although I can't commit to being a regular because I have money issues, but it sounds super fun! How much are the membership dues, and are they required if I just want to come in and learn and tell what I know?

Well, I'm not going to require membership dues until we've been going for a few months, and even then we'll only charge if you want to participate in competition. Several of my members are perennially broke, so I understand totally. Let me know if you have any other questions!

Sorry for not responding sooner, it did not send me an email for this post... Long story short, the place where we met has closed down and I have gone back to school. So, things have been quite dormant for a bit. Now, however, my schedule has settled down a bit and I'm ready to try to get things rolling again. Sunday evenings are always free for me, and I'm going to try to find a place to meet. I'm thinking of meeting at the Calapooia Brewing Company. Then if nobody else shows up, I can at least have a beer and throw some darts... So, they close at 9. I am usually free by 5, so this Sunday, 6pm at Calapooia Brewing will be the inaugural meeting of the new Albany chapter. Once we get a group going again, I will officially form the chapter.

140 SE Hill St, Albany, 97321. Or, calapooiabrewing.com Great little brew-pub. If you know Albany, it is between Water and 1st St on Hill (East of the railroad).

I'm really sorry, then! I got there a little early, and when no-one was there by just after 6, I headed out. I would have liked to meet you, and was feeling rushed from getting off of work late. Next week, I'll have more time, and beer money ^_^, so I will be there until 7 at least. (Got to give the beer time to metabolize before heading home, after all.) See you then, I hope!
