What did you pick today?

Information about locks themselves. Questions, tips and lock diagram information should be posted here.

I made a great trade and got 3 American cylinders ( not the brand, the nation), thanks Raymond!
These locks seem to be impossible to find in Europe. Atleast up here in north.
1st. I got your regular Schlage KIK. I thought it would have been easier to pick. I can do it, but must be very careful picking it allthough the bitting is not made hard.
2nd. Is a Falcon SFIC 6-pin. I picked it so that I can remove the core ( to control?) several times, but did not understand I had it picked. I didn´t know what to think of this 20 degree false set. I can pick it to control easily, but have only picked it twice to the normal operating shear line.
3rd Is a 7-pin Best SFIC. No luck! Either Raymond pinned this really hard, or its just a really good lock, and I´m not that good of a picker (yet).
I´ve been picking these without seeing the keys, keys were packed separetly just like I hoped. The Best keys are still in a sealed envelope.

Oh yeah, I picked another Abloy AVA. This one was a cabinet lock.

Today, I went through my can of locks. Out of 22 locks, I could only pick 11 :( . I'm a bit rusty on my lockpicking, and some of the locks are rusty themselves. The locks that have names that I picked today are: Master 140D, Club UTL843E (warded padlock), Club UTL864E (disc lock), Club UTL854 DE (similar to the Master 140D), Club UTL863 (shrouded padlock), and a Master No. 9 (very tiny warded padlock).

Picked an Abus Diskus 28/70. It took several minutes. It was behind a burglar resistant protective box on a carwash vacuum. I had to pick through a 1/2" hole and the lock had nothing to hold it still and in place. It wobbled alot. After opening it I made a key because there were 3 more keyed the same. I would hate to have to drill one mounted like this.

WILKA 6 pin euro profile cylinder.
scary pick!
all stainless spooled and reg. drivers,+stainless serrated keypins.
what a fight.
the pins shown were from an identical lock that was destroyed,
so i had a bit of an idea what i was up against, but no knowledge of pinning order.
picked quasi-blind... -.-

Today I bought my first lock, its a Kwikset deadbolt. I picked it pretty quick, hmm...must be why they call them that. Anyway, I bought a vise clamp as well, so I guess I'm off to a good start.
