Just joined today. I been reading for a while, but just now decided to sign up. I'm just trying to learn to pick just as a hobby....to add to my collection of random skills I will most likely never use. LOL.

Either way, great site with lots of info. Thank you everyone!

Hi, name is kenny. The lockpicking bug bit me pretty hard, ive tackled every padlock ive bought so far. Im a mechanic by trade so picking car locks and ignition cylinders comes really easy. Im striving to open my medeco biaxial and learning the patience in tackling such a tough little cam lock.

Hi. I'm motherboardlove and I'm relatively new to the lockpicking community. I started when I kept locking myself out of my office so I bought a set of $480 lockpicks. No more calling the locksmith and insane fees. :)

The local locksmith is basically a monopoly here. They charge $195 per time. What he did seemed so easy, so I just quietly wrote down the type of lockpick set, and serached it up. Turned out it was a SouthOrd 7A.

Good lord that's a lot of stuff. 7- and 8-pin circular pick, even.
You must work inside a vending machine. ;)

Hi I am Orange and I am a writer and enjoy the art of lock picking. Looking to learn more and further my research for my novel on lock security which came from my obsession with picking and learning. A natural curiosity.

Some people do Sudoku I do lockpicking.

Hey all. Just wanted to drop a line and introduce myself. Total novice here but looking to expand my knowledge of lockpicking/locksport as a hobby. Probably going to be reading a lot of posts and asking a lot of questions.

Hi, I'm new too, and i'm a lock-picking-interested guy from Germany. I don't know much about the hobby, and the few locks i picked opened more out of mercy than knowledge/ability, and this is about what i want to change :D
