Wish I would have started this(art/trade) when I was younger

Pull up a chair, grab a cold one, and talk about life as a locksmith. Trade stories of good and bad customers, general work day frustrations, any fun projects you worked on recently, or anything else you want to chat about with fellow locksmiths.

I've been looking at the posts for a little while, and this site has to be one of the most informational sites.
Seems like a great group of ppl.
I'm looking to get into locksmithing as a professional part time career.
I have heard of the foley-belsaw home school, and I sent away for information to get my feet wet.
If you guys have any other info on what to get or watch out for, feel free to lend a newbie some extra tips.

Keep up the great work guys

-and also if anyone from CT, knows of what the laws are for CT locksmiths or where to get certified, I would greatly appreciate it.
I tried looking through the web and this site for it but with no luck.

thanks,
Mark
