LOOKING FOR PROFFESIONAL LOCKSMITH

I am looking for a professional locksmith that can cut a BEST lock key (BLANK J) from a traced one from a piece of paper. A customer came in to my shop, i tried ten times i cant do it! I was wondering if professional wants to give it a try. Please Private message me or respond to the thread.

while i dont think ill have a physical problem doing it... why on earth would doing this be a good idea...

Tell the customer to steal the key for longer next time so he can take his time and trace it more accurately.

I thought it would be a challenge and the customer winding getting a new lock! I was wondering if someone else would try cause they gave me the lock! I thought it would be a challenge! Still up to it?

Sounds like you are going at the problem the wrong way... Take a Best key with known cuts and trace it... Compare the two... You should have a working key by the 3rd try...

It would help you to know the age of the Best core in question, some of the older ones use the A3 or A4 bitting depths instead of the standard A2...

If someone came into my shop with a key traced on a piece of paper, I'd decline straight away... I might listen to the story they cooked to give me something to laugh about later in the day, but they'd be sent on their way very quickly. It's not very professional of you to even consider doing this for someone, even if it is for the "challenge".

if you wanted it for a challange... have ur wife or kid or parent or friend trace a random key in ur shop and play with it that way... but no way would i make a key for a customer like that...
