Postby sidpick » 10 Sep 2004 19:49

HI, Sidpick here anybody out there in UK had dealings with era 3
lever, wobbly keyway grey case?? Just in my job I can't hang around on
site :!: and Aldridge don't stock them so I can't get one quick enough to
project it. Tried the old 3l jigglers out but no time for wires
Any info about levers, are they anti pick like some of the avocet 3 lever green case cause I don't want to be standing around with wires if they are!.Presume key bunch of about 100 Any info??Ta :!:

99 key differs to era 3 lever, 2 wires are great, jigglers will only get about 1 in 10 of these nasty little bleeders.
better than 2 L shaped wires is 1 L shaped wire to put plenty of tension on the bolt, then a button hook to lift all 3 levers at a time fully, with the right tension 3 to 4 full lifts of the button hook should get it.

there are no anti picks and they are not open ended levers they are closed levers, if you really cant get it by picking and need to drill it you can pm me for the drill points

you could use a 2 in 1 pick, if you cant get your pick in the keyway cause of the wards try filing them off.
