Help!

Postby Naigan » 5 Nov 2010 7:17

Sorry guys, I didn't really know where to post this. I don't lock pick as a hobby, but I could use some help.

I recently bought several of these padlocks:

http://www.wholesalepadlocks.co.uk/shop ... 5&catid=59

I was able to set the combination on all but 1 successfully.

The 1 that I am having issues with.. It seems as though I may have set the wrong combination, and now I can't even lock the padlock, and I can't reset the combination without the combination that I had previously set.

I hope this makes sense, and wonder if anyone has an easy way to figure out what combination I put in, and how I can fix this.

Thanks in advance.

Since the padlock is open, you might be able to look down the hole on the locking side and see when the wheel gates line up.

Cheers...

You may be able to squeeze it like you want to close it, then turn each dial til you feel a little slack, turn the tightest wheel first, keep looking for the tightest wheel, and get slack.
