1st Try at making a set of Bogota's

Sure, my authentic Bogota's from Serepick.com are in the mail, but I just couldn't wait till after the weekend to give these a shot. Not only is this my first attempt at making Bogota's, but this is only the second time I have tried to make any pick. The last attempt was with a hacksaw blade an failed miserably. You can see my finished product at the link below. I definitely have improvements to make with the overall length, twist and the bend in the handle, but once I get the real macoy....I will be able to sort those details out. This set is working great so far on the locks I have laying around. I even went one grit finer than Rai's suggestion in his how-to and that gave them a nice shine.

Very nice man, you got a little thin on the edge furthest from the tip, that will be your breaking point so be gentle... but nice work for a first attempt, keep it up

Thank you! I made these out of wiper blade inserts I salvaged from a u-pick-it junk yard. Yeah, I really had no idea what thickness I was aiming for. Since this is my first go at it and since the real deals should be hear any day, even if it does break....I'll still be happy. The prototype gave me much needed insight.
