Master Lock Magnum 240

Postby af_newbie » 13 Nov 2010 8:23

Hi there,

I have a Magnum 240 in 1-2-9-1 configuration (front to back).

Pin 9 (third from the front) and the last one are the security pins.

I've tried to use different order of setting pins, but I'm having problems with pin 9.

Every time I set the last one, pin 9 binds to high, when I release the tension the other pins fall.

How to work lock like this? Do I need some very thin hook to get to last pin without tripping pin 9?

Any advise?

The solution was quite easy. Lever off the last pin with a full hook. It just needed a slight touch for click, then release a tension a bit for the other pins to unbind (the ones that went above the shear line while binding the last pin).
