Nice inspection tool

Ordered this endoscope, and must say I am very pleased with it. (No, I am not associated with the vendor, and yes I payed for it :D )

It comes with two adjustable "tweezers"/tension wrenches that adopt nicely to car-locks or similar wafer-locks. Also a small set of tips/picks that can be used to lift wafers or pick them.

I have also tried it on cylinder-locks to identify individual pins(highs/lows)

The picture does not do justice to the real quality.

Hope this is interesting to some of you. If you want to look closer, try googling "eagle eye zoom with needle".

Brgds,
Ed

Sorry for replying so late.

Yes, it looks the same, and I paid approx $45 plus shipping(was in a pack with plenty of other car-opening tools.)

Does this thing use an LED light?
If a lock is a puzzle, then its key is the complete picture

Yes, you can see the shade of the LED in the picture. It obstructs some of the view.

I suppose more expensive otoscopes have smaller lightsources, but they are in the $200-1000 price-range.
