Evva GPI key

Postby _saiko » 27 Nov 2010 8:34

First of all Im not trying to pick this lock. All im trying is to make a duplicate key. The problem is that wichever locksmith I ask he wants the lock ID wich I naturally dont have as the lock is 30 years old.
Heres the pic of the key:

Anyone has an idea how/where to make a duplicate?

Thanks.

Bring the lock and the key to the locksmith -- if they can not make you a duplicate key at that point without the "lock ID" then as them to re-key the lock and provide you with a new lock ID...

The problem you will have is that the profile may well be unique to one locksmith or dealer in any one country. As such rekeying is probably not an option. I would contact any locksmith who supplies EVVA in your area. Give him the number stamped on the key. If he cannot supply he can ask the main Evva agent who can.

Or replace the lock.

Or find a locksmith with an easi-entri machine to make a blank and then duplicate the key.

Sadly i cannot find any distributors for Croatia :(
At least the EVVA website doesn't have any EVVA dealers in Croatia listed.

Any idea?

Replace your cylinder with one you are able to have serviced by your local locksmiths...

impression in clay, cast aluminium or brass into new mould. winrar.
The BiLock isn't the first bump proof pin tumbler because it isn't a pin tumbler.
And it's called a shear line, not a "sheerline".
