Hello all! Thanks for the kind words. Good to see you guys and hope to see you again at the next meeting, which is coming up on September 17th. We'll be going over combo locks and reviewing basic lockpicking for any newcomers. We can also have some more impressioning practice considering that we all need to practice that : )

For more information and meeting reminders see:

October meeting went great. Phaasit won the speed picking competition, with the top 4 rounding out to be Phaasit, Jeremy, Alex, and NMI.

See you all in November! Topic is TBA and will be announced on the Meetup group when I figure it out. PM me with suggestions!

Hey datagram,

Out of curiosity, how does Null Space membership factor in with the LI group?

Thanks for clarifying.

The lock meeting has no membership requirements and does not cost anything to attend. (The meetup group fee is for membership in L.I. as they host the meetup account and sponsor the meet along with TOOOL USA)

That said, we encourage throwing a few bucks in the NSL beverage jar if you eat/drink anything, and the lock group has a small donation bin that goes towards buying new locks/tools for everyone. NSL membership is 40$ a month and lets you play with all of our electronics supplies and etc. For the most part all the members/attendees are willing to share tools and components without asking for money, though. NSL membership is not required for anything but it is a great way to support the space and make sure we stay open and have nice things.

Make sure to introduce yourself if I don't already know you, Eyes :) This month's meeting topic is the start of the 2011 points competition and me bringing a part of my high security collection to show off. I'll post full details to meetup soon.

Looking forward to it. Finally get to break out of the digital realm and participate in locksports in the real world! Should I bring my pickset?

Of course. That's about all you need to bring, but you can bring whatever you want.
