I always thought a good Reality TV show would be "McGyver Survivor", where contestants would be hand cuffed and thrown in a cell. Then rip open an old can to shim open a padlock to get out of the cage?, and use the old style thermostat bimetallic spring to bypass a set of handcuffs, I wont go to the point of using smoke detector batterie(s) to activate the strike.
On Youtube and others they show drawing an M on a piece of can and folding correctly and cut out with scissors to make a shim.
I like to rip the can open by hand and tear the can to the shape of the shim, you don't always have scissors.

my pick was formed with an old pair of scissors. took a little effort to get it bent just right because of the size of the scissors but had the lock open in a matter of seconds. i need to remake my picks. when i got transferred i lost them. had a perfect small half diamond(hack saw blade) and tension wrench made from an old wielding stick with the protective coating removed and hammered flat. best tension wrench ever.

During a remodel, in which I had a set of keys to allow access to the bottom lock, top deadbolt was not yet installed.
Just for fun, I took my leather belt, pushed the loop through the hole, over the lower doornob, pulled tight, then tighter on one side and it turned the knob to open.

face, one week ago, forgot the house key at home with my parents, I used a wire clips and a neighbor that got me immediately. I'll redo this thing and write so you can see, it took about 10 seconds.

My ninja skills ( ):

- pick from a paper clip:
bent it to half diamond, hook, or snake rake, heat it up to red with a Zippo lighter, and cool back fast it cold water.

- for wafer locks , the bobby pin's side is good to rake, need only a small bending if it's not.

- tension wrench:
Pen's holding clip, plastic card, bobby pin, paper clip with the bending and heating.....

Door latch opener:
Here Hungary we have an " adress card", wich is a thin laminated card, the government office gives it for you, it's very flexible.

Wonder if any Agents/Special Forces, have had a stainless implant in their mouth that would accept a tooth that could be 1/4 turned and removed and it would have a handcuff key end, and that same end is what would allow placing back in your mouth and resecuring with the 1/4 turn twist?
Movie Stuff?

I have to retract the "Toothpick" as this is more James Bond, The wire on a Partial would fall into the Ninja Skills?
