Any input on the Assured Locksmith Training Course?

Another newbie here,

I am looking for doing locksmithing for my retirement years. Here in Alaska there are not many found in the remote areas, and I also have the opportunity of tying locksmith into my current job.

My question is does anyone have any input on the Assured Locksmith Training course? Am I better off going with Foley Belsaw?

I have searched and found nothing about the Assured training on this website but the BBB has no complaints against them.

I took it and it was kind of a waste. The educational material they sent me looked like it was written for someone with only a 4th grade education and is very watered down compared to the FB lessons. They have their own supply company but it looks like they sell to just anyone and not just to those that took their course.

I took the FB course a couple years later and was much happier with it. They're actually recognized by ALOA as a legit locksmith course which will prove to be more beneficial down the line. Trust me.

Try out taking referrals from your friends or family if they know any good locksmiths. Otherwise I suggest you to search online for your query and you may get the desired results in a short span of time. Professional locksmiths are easily available who may help you out in making your retirement years secure.

I took the foley belsaw course and i was happy with it. Some of the material was outdated for my area but it was good infomation to know.
