When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

A proof of concept I'm working on, pretty much there just waiting for a special order to come in to start fabricating away.

The handles are made of moldable pvc.

The pvc as well, just a different formula that is more flexible and higher temp resistance.

What type of equipment do you need to use the moldable PVC?

Any links for the PVC? It sounds interesting.

No special equipment needed, just alot of time and determination (frustration)... took a few attempts to get a good mold.

As far as material, you can get all kinds at your local craft shop, just ask for polymer clays they have different brands that have different strengths/weaknesses. Not sure if brands are different anywhere, but basically Fimo, Sculpey, Cernit, and house brands are all polymer clays that set up as PVC.

Ahh ok when you referred to as moldable pvc my brain started over thinking it.

Lol I've tried sculpey before but they turned out looking like a 3yo made it so I gave up on it.

Sculpey is pretty soft I think, and it has a few different formulas.

I use Fimo its the most expensive and hard to work, but best results in my opinion... it does take a certain knack to work with, you're right about that.
