Do you find that your picks bend when stored? I had bought some picks 2 days ago and found three to be bent out of shape. My majestic picks that i have had for a while had bent slightly in storage but ok now as i sorted them out by bending back into place. Does anyone else have picks that go out of shape? Scope

No: I've never had my picks bend, either in storage or in use.
If you're bending them in use, then you're using far too much pressure for picking. If they're bending them in storage, however, then there's definitely something wrong with how you're storing them: there's nothing special about the metal used in picks that would cause them to bend on their own. They are, however, inherently thin, in order to fit into tight keyways. I'm not sure how you're storing them... but if you're sticking them in your back pocket and sitting on them, for example, they'll certainly not stay flat for long.
Hope that helps?

Storage:I just close the case & pop the case into my Lockpicking carry case fully padded. Thats it... Not doing anything wrong as far as i know or storing wrong, I'm always carefull when i store them as they are very expensive, fragile, tools. Scope

I have found that some of my really crappy picks AKA KLOM sort of bananaed a bit right after I got them, but it might just have been the crappy case.

If you have too many picks in a case it can cause them to bend.

like criminalhate said, packing too many picks into a case can do it. I remember when i bought one of those "every pick imaginable" sets when i first started out years ago (before i knew that the majority of those picks were useless, live and learn) that some of the picks would warp because they were pushing on each other.

For a second I read "do picks blend?"
I have never had this problem with any brand of picks. Of course saying that, I always make sure they are in the case properly and nothing heavy sitting on the case. Spring steel is pretty flexible though, if they did bend, they should bend back.
