Detroit Meetup.

Postby rattis » 22 Feb 2011 13:46

A buddy of mine, who thought that Ann Arbor was too far of a drive for meetings / group, has started a Detroit based group. Below is the email he sent me.
Good news! The first (official) meeting of the Detroit Locksport group
will be held this Thursday (feb 24) at the Cass Cafe from 8:00pm until
everyone leaves. We have a bunch of locks (but don't let that stop you
from bringing your own!), but only a few sets of picks, so if you're
coming and have your own bring 'em with you. We'll be covering the
basics - a name exchange, pin and tumbler mechanisms, and beginning
picking.

Here's the facebook event page (for those of you who facebook):
https://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=193691190650081

Show up! Invite your friends! Drink some beers and pick some locks!

Hope to see a few people there.

Hey, I know that guy! we're having another get-together on the 24th and it's looking like it's going to be at the same time and location (unless someone knows of somewhere quieter). Looking forward to some fresh faces!
