These lock are released by the MLA (Master locksmith association) for use by its members as a security lock with duplication control or can be made into a master key system using cross keyway.

They come in kit form thats why there is 6 pin's in the housing and only 5 in the plug (save money) there is a 6 pin option availiable looking at the number stamped on the key its a standered single key system somewhere i have the bittings for the key on a key chart which is issused by gege-grunmann i do believe its the keyway that is listed to the individual locksmith there should be a number stamped on the front of the key to determin its original builder

For information this is a non-stop key version (as detailed by gege-grunmann) there is a newer version which has a modified stop if required i can post the images

I got one of these and the only way I can get it open is with an electric pick gun. Picking it is an absolute nightmare. I rate them really highly, good locks.

Horrible locks to pick. I have 2 of their basic 5 pinners here with the bog standard GE1 keyway and I can't pick either of them. I made a key for one, and even after having it completely apart I can't tell what's going on in there. Aswell as the serrated drivers, the plug chambers are countermilled... only a tiny bit, but it still causes problems. They always have wacky bittings too... very underrated locks. Some people can pick them easily enough, but I haven't got the feel for them one bit. :|

Took me a while till I figured my Gege out.
If I had no key to look I doubt I gould have picked it at all.

when i read gege on a job i dont even bother getting the picks out. They are very hard to pick, even new out the box, its all down to the insane top pins.
