sanding a titan bogota pick?

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

sanding a titan bogota pick?

would it be necessary to sand a bogota titan pick to keep it smooth flowing within the keyway at all times or not at all? just something that popped up into my head.

very fine sand paper couldn't hurt. dont use an aggressive grit.

if you use 320 or around there, you are shaping the pick with it.

Good question. I just received an order of Ti's from Serepick yesterday with some pretty rough dips on top and was wondering if I need to sand 'em. Didn't expect that, since the others I've received were extremely polished and slick.

Huh, guess they've disable post editing on this forum so I'll just make a new post.

I emailed Matt at Serepick and he promptly wrote back (in 45 minutes!). He said based on my photo, mine weren't finished properly and he'd have another set in the mail today! Wow, that's great service. They definitely stand behind these things.

Very impressive!

If the OP will pardon one more interruption, I just wanted to follow up that the new Bogota Titans arrived exactly as Matt promised. They shipped them out the same day and I received Saturday.

I definitely appreciate a company that stops the train to make people whole on service matters. Big +1 for Serepick.
